Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress, musician and playback vocalist for Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian origin. She was the daughter of an attorney from the Madras High Court attorney. There is a younger sister who resides in Leuven Belgium as researcher assistant. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea began playing the piano classically in her 8th year. In her twenties, she became an active member of the group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her performing and music composition career. She was a stage performer at her college and was a part of in a variety of plays staged in the form of The Madras Players, EVAM and various theatre organizations. She served as President of the The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her theatre career by appearing in Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the brand new Leo Coffee advert was in the role of Shiva. She also acted as a part of a character in the Podhigai serial. She has appeared in various shows throughout India. She played a brief role in Kanda Mudhal, the 2005 final episode. Gautham is a character in the film. Menon was invited after she performed a number in the film Vettaiyaadu, to perform as a leading female in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani who is a homewife whose husband has been involved in an affair. Andrea was allegedly targeted for blackmail. Andrea was approached by Simran shobana and Tabu. The film came out at the start of 2010. In 2011, she accepted to have a supporting role that was released in early 2010. In 2011, she accepted to have a supporting role Venkat Prabhu, who starred in Mankatha. The film premiered on August 11 in 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic flick that was released in 2013.
