Angela Sun

Angela Sun is an American journalist television presenter sportscaster and documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun was born on October 19, 1979, located in Santa Clara County California. She is an award-winning journalist, sportscaster and actress. Her degree is in Sociology and Communication at the University of California. Sun was a pro surfer who took part in numerous pro-am surfing events. This led her to get sponsored by major companies like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans, among others. The recognition she got from this acted like a slingshot that launched her into the world of entertainment. She later became an investigative film director and journalist as well as a sportscaster. Sun is a former anchor who has worked on numerous news channels. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter from 2003. Sun also hosted American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley back in 2012. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute for the season 2014. She was the first Asian American to have her name featured as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun is a regular in a number of movies and received not only praise but also fame for her acting skills. She has appeared in many movies, such as Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun's feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the effects of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She created, wrote and directed the film herself.
